Amritsar, August 28, 2024: The Drama Club of Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar and Rangkarmi Manch group of Amritsar staged the play 'Bhapa ji da trunk on Tuesday.
The eloquent performance won the hearts of the audience by making them laugh.
This play is written and directed by Manchpreet.
This play has presented the serious issues of the present day in a light-hearted manner. The new generation in the desire to the generational wealth and to make their own career, forgetting the human values and neglecting their parents, throwing themselves into the fire of loneliness, oppressed and slave type husbands messing around in front of their modern wives, made the audience laugh and thought provoking.
The applause of the audience and their constant laughter testified to the success of this play.
On this occasion Vice-Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Jaspal Singh Sandhu, Dr. Amandeep Singh, Dr. Sunil Kumar, Director Kanwal Randhey and a large number of theatre lovers were present.
Dr. Sunil Kumar thanked the guests and honored the Team of Rangkarmi Manch.
