Dream Sports has earned this recognition for creating a ‘Great Place to Work’ for all its employees and has excelled on 5 dimensions of building a High-Trust, High-Performance CultureTM – Credibility, Respect, Fairness, Pride and Camaraderie. Founded in 2008 by Harsh Jain and Bhavit Sheth, Dream Sports’ vision is to ‘Make Sports Better’ by providing multiple avenues for Indian fans to deeply engage with the sports they love by offering fantasy sports, content, commerce, experiences and events, among others. With only one office, Dream Sports is headquartered in Mumbai. Currently, Dream Sports has over 400 Sportans (employees) across Dream11, FanCode, DreamX and DreamSetGo.
Talking about this achievement, Kevin Freitas, CHRO, Dream Sports said, “At Dream Sports, we have a culture-first approach and believe that performance and culture go hand-in-hand, which is one of the reasons we have bagged this title consecutively for three years. Our culture is based on five main pillars - DOPUT - Data Obsessed, Ownership, Performance, User-first and Transparency. We make every Sportan ‘match ready’ with a wide range of benefits, thereby helping them achieve a balance between work and play.”
Dream Sports recently announced that it is committed to its hiring plan for the year. They are hiring 250 employees this year across brands, verticals and levels undeterred by the pandemic. They already remotely hired and onboarded 75 people in 75 days during the lockdown. The company also announced a work-from-home arrangement for existing and new employees until a cure or vaccine is available for coronavirus.
