Ludhiana, September 22, 2018: Dr.Tejinder Singh, Professor of Pediatrics and Medical Education at CMC Ludhiana was conferred the Excellence in Medical Education Award (Eminent Alumnus) at the hands of M.Venkaiah Naidu, Vice President of India at a ceremony held today at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi.
The award had been instituted by the National Board of Examinations under Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, to recognize contribution of teachers to medical education. 31 teachers were honoured at the function.
Dr.Tejinder Singh had earlier received the Dr.B.C.Roy National Award from Medical Council of India for Eminent Medical Teacher.
