Members of the Eco-Friendly Club of Guru Nanak International Public School, Ludhiana organising an ‘Anti-Tobacco’ Rally on Saturday.

Ludhiana, May 1, 2016: To aware the people about the hazards of taking drugs, the Eco-Friendly Club of Guru Nanak International Public School, I-Block, BRS Nagar, Ludhiana organised an ‘Anti-Tobacco’ Rally on Saturday.

The route of the rally was from Rose garden, SDP College, Hathi Complex, Sarabha Nagar to BRS Nagar (E-Block and I-Block). The students of senior classes showed their enthusiasm to bring awareness among the public to escape from drugs and save the youth from the devil of drugs. Students spoke slogans in different languages such as “Human Chimneys” best describes a smoker; who burns his own lungs & damage others.

Students held banners and hoardings depicting slogans about the ill effects of tobacco and other drugs. Students also took the pledge of not taking these life killers and to carry on such drives to save precious lives of the youth. The message of “Say No to Tobacco” was spread successfully by the students.
