DRV DAV Kabaddi Champs: Under-19 Boys Clinch Victory in CBSE Cluster XVIII!

Jalandhar, October 1, 2024: From September 21st to 24th, the prestigious CBSE Cluster XVIII Kabaddi Tournament took place at St. Kabir Gurukul School, Jalalabad, Jalandhar. The event witnessed fierce competition with teams from Amritsar, Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Batala, Jammu & Kashmir, Taran Taran, and Pathankot participating in the Under-14, 17, and 19 categories.

In the highly competitive Under-19 boys' category, DRV DAV Centenary Public School emerged as the champion, securing the first position and displaying commendable teamwork, agility, and determination. The boys’ relentless efforts and sportsmanship were key factors that led them to the top.A special mention goes to Mr Ranjit Singh, the dedicated mentor of the Under-19 boys’ team, whose strategic guidance and motivation played an instrumental role in honing the players' skills and ensuring their victory.

Principal Dr. Yogesh Gambhir extended heartfelt congratulations to the winning team and their mentor.
