Due to surge in Covid 19 cases, Common Entrance Examination rescheduled for 25 April
The CEE was scheduled on 28 Feb 2021 at Guru Nanak Stadium, Ludhiana
Ludhiana: It is intimated that due to surge in Covid 19 cases in Punjab and especially Ludhiana, on the advice of Civil administration, the Common Entrance Examination (CEE) for the post of Soldier General Duty which was scheduled on 28 March 2021 has been postponed to April 25, 2021.
The officials at Army Recruiting Office Ludhiana informed that the candidates who have successfully completed the physical and medical examination on the rally conducted at Khanna were to appear for the Common Entrance Examination. These candidates are from the districts of Ludhiana, Moga, Rupnagar and SAS Nagar (Mohali) will have to attend the same exam once the Covid 19 situation improves in the state of Punjab.
The Army Recruiting Office Ludhiana had conducted a recruitment rally from 07 Dec to 27 Dec 2020 at AS College ground Khanna. This rally was for candidates from four districts of Punjab- Moga, Ludhiana, SAS Nagar and Rupnagar. Out of 14,000 registered candidates 10,000 candidates attended the rally.
A total of 1832 candidates cleared their physical and medical examinations and became eligible to attend the Common Entrance Examination(CEE) .
The CEE was scheduled on 28 Feb 2021 at Guru Nanak Stadium, Ludhiana. Due to technical reasons CEE for Soldier General Duty category(1718 candidates) could not be conducted. A total of 114 candidates of clerical trade attended the exam on 28 Feb 2021.
The CEE for Soldier General duty was planned for 28 Mar 2021 at Ludhiana . Fresh admit cards were issued to all 1718 candidates by the ARO.How ever due to surge in Covid 19 cases in Punjab and especially in Ludhiana, CEE has been rescheduled for 25 April 2021.
