E-rickshaw drivers need to be issued driving licenses

The revolutionary manufacturing of e-rickshaws has proved to be a major fuel saver. The cities are witnessing manifold increase in e-rickshaws in the metropolitan cities. The need of hour is to educate the drivers of e-rickshaws to follow the traffic rules. The drivers should be given education about driving e-rickshaws so that they should follow all the traffic rules. Later, the local administration should make their temporary driving licenses. It has been observed that due to ignorance of traffic rules and regulations the e-rickshaws’ drivers fail to obey traffic rules and are always a threat for the others vehicle owners for any mishap or accident.
