ECTOPIA 2019 enters Day 2 with great fanfare  and enthusiasm
Ludhiana, February 13, 2019: Three-day cultural festival ECTOPIA-2019 enters its second day today with many entertaining talent-hunt competitions at DMCH, Ludhiana. Students performed to the best of their ability to showcase their talent and made audience applaud to their enchanting performances. Yesterday evening, there was a star performance by upcoming Punjabi Singer-Gurnam Bhullar, who made the audience danced to his popular punjabi song numbers including Gora Rang, Phone Maar Di, Fakira and Jatt Zimindar. Second day of the ECTOPIA-2019 festival today witnessed events ‘Turn Coat Extempore’, ‘Group Songs’ ‘Ad Fads’ and ‘Treasure Hunt’ In ‘Turn Coat Extempore’ segment, the participants spoke in favour of and against some important critical issues like Online Education, Arranged v/s Love Marriage, Face to face Interaction or Online Chatting Session. Participants presented their point of view with extreme justification and convincing answers. Results of ‘Turn Coat Extempore’ include-1.Sukhmani Sidhu (Batch 2016), 2. Alam Noor (Batch 2018) and 3.Sumit Kaur (Batch 2015) Then, there was ‘Group Song’ in which 1st prize was bagged by MBBS Batch 2018 and second prize was bagged by MBBS 2016 Batch. In ‘Group Song’ segment, students of MBBS Batch 2015 reverberated the air with extremely popular sufi song ’Maula mere Maula’ The faculty members-Dr Navjot Bajwa and Dr Garima Sharma sang ‘Nahin Jaana mere maye, Mai aide naal nai jaana’ song in their melodious voices and students in the audience cheered their teachers with great applause. In ‘Ad Fads’ segments the students participated in presenting the conceptualization of advertisement of various products that made audience burst into peels of laugher. The evening today will witness progamme segments like solo song performances, duet dances, choreography and comedy night by two renowned artists Parvinder Singh and Shivansh Srivastava.
