Chandigarh, October 29, 2015: Punjab Chief Minister Mr.Parkash Singh Badal today expressed profound grief and sorrow over the sad demise of Mrs.Tejinder Kaur, the wife of Editor Punjabi Tribune, Mr.Surinder Singh Tej, who passed away after a brief illness at a private hospital in Panchkula this afternoon. She was 58 and is survived by her husband and daughter Ms.Guneet Kaur Tez, IAS, Director Treasuries Punjab.
In a message, the Chief Minister, while recalling the marvelous services rendered by Mrs. Tejinder Kaur in the field of Education, said that the state has lost one of its illustrious daughter, who would be ever remembered for her hard work and dedication. He said that throughout her life Mrs. Tejinder Kaur spread the light of education in the state.
Sharing his heartfelt condolences with the bereaved family, Mr. Badal prayed to the Almighty to give strength to the family members and relatives to bear this huge loss in this hour of grief and grant eternal peace to the departed soul.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Sukhbir Singh Badal and Information & Public Relations Minister Mr. Bikram Singh Majithia also deeply mourned the death of Mrs. Tejinder Kaur.
Meanwhile, Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Sukhbir Singh Badal expressed deep grief over the demise of Mrs. Tejinder Kaur, wife of Mr. Surinder Tej, Editor Punjabi Tribune, and mother of Mrs. Gurneet Kaur Tej, IAS. Mrs. Tej was an english lecturer and got retirement on August 31, 2015. Expressing his heartfelt sympathies with the members of the bereaved family, Mr. Badal prayed to the Almighty to grant peace to the departed soul and strength to the family to bear this irreparable loss.
