Educational tour organised by Physics Department of Lyallpur Khalsa College
Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar continuously strives for the overall development of students. Accordingly, an educational tour was organised by the physics department of the college to Guru Gobind Singh Thermal Plant, Ropar and Sri Kiratpur Sahib. Students of B.Sc., M.Sc. Physics and M.Sc. Chemistry participated in this tour.

Jalandhar, November 7, 2024: Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar continuously strives for the overall development of students. Accordingly, an educational tour was organised by the physics department of the college to Guru Gobind Singh Thermal Plant, Ropar and Sri Kiratpur Sahib. Students of B.Sc., M.Sc. Physics and M.Sc. Chemistry participated in this tour.
Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh said that such educational tours which increase the academic knowledge of the students also increase social and cultural interaction. He expressed the hope that our students will benefit from this educational tour.
Dr. Narveer Singh Head Physics Department said that at Guru Gobind Singh Thermal Plant students understood the process of generating electricity from coal.
On this occasion, Engineer Surinder Jeet Singh conducted a complete tour of the plant and informed about other functions and processes of the plant.
In this tour Dr. Narveer Singh Head Physics Department, Prof. Amanpreet Kaur Sandhu, Prof. Navneet Arora, Prof. Ravneet Kaur and from Chemistry Department Prof.Vikas Kumar, Prof. Harshvir Arora and Prof. Pakija were also present.
