Educational Trip to Grand Post Office enriches young minds at Apeejay School
Under the esteemed guidance of Mrs. Sushma Paul Berlia, Chairperson of Apeejay Education and Co-Founder and Chancellor of Apeejay Stya University, Apeejay School, Tanda Road, Jalandhar, organized an educational trip to the Grand Post Office (GPO) for the young students of Nursery, LKG, and UKG. The visit aimed to provide the children with a hands-on learning experience, broadening their understanding of the postal system.
Jalandhar, August 31, 2024: Under the esteemed guidance of Mrs. Sushma Paul Berlia, Chairperson of Apeejay Education and Co-Founder and Chancellor of Apeejay Stya University, Apeejay School, Tanda Road, Jalandhar, organized an educational trip to the Grand Post Office (GPO) for the young students of Nursery, LKG, and UKG. The visit aimed to provide the children with a hands-on learning experience, broadening their understanding of the postal system.
During the trip, the students had the opportunity to meet a postman, observe the delivery van in action, and even participate in the process by delivering their letters into the post box. This interactive experience allowed them to grasp the basics of mail delivery and the importance of the postal service in everyday life.
The highlight of the trip was a visit to the Philatelic Museum, where the students observed an extensive collection of stamps, tracing the history of postal services from ancient times to the present day. This exposure to the rich heritage of philately sparked curiosity and excitement among the young learners.
The educational trip was an enriching experience, leaving the students with a deeper appreciation for the workings of the GPO and the role it plays in connecting people.
