Elaichi becomes the voice of the women in Chandni Chowk in Sony SAB’ Jijaji Chhat Per Hain

Sony SAB’s Jijaji Chhat Per Hain has been entertaining its viewers with its fresh content. The show has seamlessly weaved in social issues as well on several occasions to create awareness. This time around the beloved characters of the show will be seen dealing with the problem of eve-teasing in their unique way.

In the upcoming episodes, the audiences will witness Elaichi (Hiba Nawab) fighting against eve-teasing, harassment and other nuisances by men in the locality. In one such incident, Sunita (Raashi Bawa) comes to Elaichi complaining about Munna’s gang teasing her. Elaichi decides to teach them a lesson and fight back. She requests Pancham to teach her some martial arts moves so that she can defend herself. Pancham starts taking classes to teach the girls of Chandi-Chowk self-defense tricks.

In a bid to teach Munna’s gang a lesson, Elaichi devises a plan to trap and instigate Munna to eve-tease. When he does so, Pancham (Nikhil Khurana) and Sunita throw cow dung on him. Elaichi uses her unique self-defense, martial arts tricks to fight Munna and his gang. The trio then also go around Chandni Chowk teaching a lesson to all men who eve-tease.

Will Elaichi’s prank on the men in Chandni Chowk have any repercussions for her? How will the men now take revenge for their public humiliation?

Talking about the track Hiba Nawab a.k.a. Elaichi mentioned, “In this current track on self-defense, there is really a strong message to all the females across the country. Self- defense is of prime importance in today’s time and every girl should raise her voice and fight against eve- teasing. It was fun shooting for this sequence, even we learnt few martial art tricks from YouTube. It felt great to learn these tricks and I feel everyone must know few defense techniques.”
