Elocution Contest in International Hostel to celebrate Ambedkar Jayanti

Chandigarh, April 14, 2022: The Girls Hostel No 1,2,3,9,International Hostel and Boys Hostel No 8 had organized an Elocution Contest in the International Hostel to celebrate Ambedkar Jayanti today.
The chief guest on the occasion was Prof. Rattan Singh, UILS and Chief Vigilance Officer of PU. Prof. Jagtar Singh, DSW, Prof Ashok Kumar, ASW, Prof. Jayanti Datta, Deputy director HRDC were also present on the occasion. The topics for the elocution were Ambedkar and his educational philosophy, Ambedkar and Women Empowerment, Ambedkar's message to Indian Youth, and Ambedkar and Indian Constitution.
The students presented their views on these topics. Around 50 students participated in the event. Three students were selected as winners. First prize was given to Akanksha, second prize to Surabhi and third prize was given to Surabhi.
