Bathinda, May 25, 2024: The Department of Financial Administration at the Central University of Punjab’s School of Management, under the guidance of Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Prof. Raghavendra P. Tiwari, hosted a special lecture series where eminent academicians shared their insights with students.

 
Distinguished speakers, including Prof. G. L. Puntambekar from Dr. Harisingh Gour Vishwavidyalaya, Sagar; Prof. Ravi Inder Singh from the University Business School, Punjab University, RC, Ludhiana; and Prof. S. K. Dubey from the Institute of Management Studies, BHU, Varanasi, graced the event. Their thought-provoking lectures offered valuable perspectives to the attendees.
 

Prof. (Dr.) Anand Thakur, Dean of the School of Management, inaugurated the event with a welcome address, highlighting the importance of the lecture series for both postgraduate and Ph.D. students.
 

The first speaker, Prof. G. L. Puntambekar, delivered a lecture titled "Bharat in the Coming Years: Hope and Challenges." Prof. Puntambekar discussed India's future trajectory, addressing socio-economic and political challenges, and highlighted emerging opportunities in technological advancements, economic reforms, and global positioning.
 

The second lecture, presented by Prof. Ravi Inder Singh, focused on "Personal Financial Planning." Prof. Singh provided a detailed framework for managing personal finances, emphasizing budgeting, saving, and investing. He discussed various financial instruments and strategies for financial planning, highlighting the significance of early start and disciplined financial behavior.
 

The third session was conducted online, where Prof. S. K. Dubey spoke on "Managing Self." Prof. Dubey's lecture focused towards personal development and self-management techniques, emphasizing self-awareness, goal setting, and time management.
 

The event was a resounding success, leaving the students enriched and inspired by the profound insights shared by the eminent academicians.
