Chandigarh, October 6, 2024: Enactus Panjab University (PU) made a vibrant presence at Seva Mela- Daan Utsav held on October 5-6 at DLF Mall, IT Park, Chandigarh. 

This year’s event featured esteemed impact partners, including the Association of Social Health in India, Enactus, SAAC India, Yuvastambh, and I Hate Polythene. The Enactus SSBUICET team showcased their transformative projects aimed at tackling social and environmental challenges, engaging the public to raise awareness about their initiatives, conveyed Prof. Seema Kapoor, Faculty Advisor of Enactus team. She stated that events like these are essential for nurturing a culture of giving and innovation among young minds.
 
The two-day Utsav featured an array of stalls from various NGOs and startups, each promoting their products to support the initiative.  PU ENACTUS stall served as a vibrant hub of creativity and impact, said Muskan Sihag, President of Enactus team.
 
The visitors had the opportunity to learn about the team's innovative projects and initiatives. From empowering women entrepreneurs to promoting environmental sustainability, Enactus team showcased its commitment to making a difference in the lives of the underprivileged communities, averred Shashwat, Vice President of team.
 
The event also provided a valuable platform for outreach. It allowed ENACTUS team to connect with potential supporters, collaborators and stakeholders, said Anjuman Siddique, Social Media Head. This type of engagement is crucial as we aim to expand our sustainable social impact, stated Rimzim Garg, Marketing Head of team.

Haimanshi, HR Head, reflected on the experience, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to highlight the team’s work. “We hope to continue contributing to a better, more inclusive society,” she concluded.
