Enactus session during induction programme 2023 of Dr SSBUICET, Panjab University

Chandigarh, August 18, 2023: On the concluding day of the three weeks Student Induction Programme for the new batch of 2023, Team Enactus SSBUICET, Panjab University, organized a session highlighting and explaining its projects, conveyed Prof. Seema Kapoor, Faulty Advisor of Enactus team. The event was graced with the benign presence of Prof. Jatinder Grover,Dean Student Welfare, Prof Simrit Kahlon,Dean Student Welfare (women),Prof. Naresh Kumar, Associate Dean Student Welfare, Prof. Amrit Pal Toor, Chairperson, Dr.SSBUICET, Prof. Anupama Thakur, Dr. Twinkle Bedi, Coordinator, Student Induction Programme and other faculty members of Dr.SSBUICET.
The session was initiated by a spark created by Jaidev Singh Naroo, Creative Head of the team. Muskan Sihag and Jasnoor, members of Team Enactus presented and introduced Enactus to the freshmen by showcasing the projects of Enactus, Uday and Dhra along with a setup for everyone to have a look at the products under our projects.
Prof. Jatinder Grover highlighted that Enactus is a brand ambassador for Panjab University, representing the university at the National and International level and playing an important role in uplifting the underprivileged communities.
Prof. Simrit Kahlon appreciated team Enactus in taking social outreach activities on a very high scale, which also contributed as an important part in the recent accreditationby National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). She praised the Enactus alumni for leaving behind the legacy of excellence and serving the society round the clock, told Amitoj Kaur, Content Head of Team Enactus.
Prof. Naresh Kumar motivated the students to keep working on the path paved by Prof. Kapoor, faculty advisor and enactus members of the previous batches, averred Devendra, Technical Head of Enactus.
Shubham Dhiman, President of Team extended a warm vote of thanks and said that these societal endeavours are only possible due to the continuous motivation and encouragement provided by DSW office and other higher authorities of Panjab University.
