Jalandhar, April 12, 2022: A Debate Competition was organised by the English Literary Society on the topic "Is Technology in Today's Era a Boon or a Bane for Mankind? In this competition, around seventeen students from different streams participated enthusiastically. It was organised to give an opportunity to the students to display their efficient oratory and presentation skills. It was a indeed a fruitful activity in proving students an outlet to their linguistic and literary creativity.
The judge of the competition was Dr.Indu Tyagi. Manpreet of B.A.B.Ed Semester IV stood first, Komalpreet of B.A Semester IV bagged the second position and Simran of B.A Semester IV grabbed the third position. All students put in their best foot forward. The members of the Managing Committee and the Principal of the college Dr. Pooja Prashar apprised the students for their avid participation. She also lauded the efforts of the Head, Department of English, Ujla Dada Joshi for organizing such scholastic events. The organising Committee comprised Aabroo Sharma and Gurjit Kaur.
