Jalandhar, February 21, 2025: The English Literary Society of PCM S.D. College for Women, Jalandhar, organised a Quiz Competition on ‘Legends of Literature’, celebrating the timeless legacy of literary luminaries across the world. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation, with students showcasing their deep understanding of literary history, iconic works, and distinguished authors.
The quiz was thoughtfully structured into multiple engaging rounds—including literary trivia, author identification, famous first lines, and a rapid-fire segment—the competition tested the participants’ knowledge, analytical skills, and appreciation of literary masterpieces.
The initiative aimed to foster a profound love for literature, cultivate critical inquiry, and Bhavna and Purnima of BA Semester IV performed incredibly well.
President Naresh Budhia, Senior Vice President Vinod Dada, other members of the managing committee and Principal Prof.(Dr.) Pooja Prashar commended the English Literary Society and its Head, Aabroo Sharma for curating such a stimulating event and emphasising the transformative power of literature in shaping intellect and perception.
