On the occasion of Diwali, Prime Video is offering one free episode of its latest series P.I.Meena, Aspirants Season 2, and Takeshi’s Castle on YouTube (Youtube.com/@PrimeVideoIN), enabling consumers to watch an entire episode, before enjoying the full series on Prime Video.
A crime-detective drama, P.I. Meena revolves around a young and gritty private investigator, Meenakshi Iyer, aka P.I. Meena (Tanya Maniktala), who becomes the witness of a road accident. She is determined to pull the curtains from a thrilling murder mystery, only to discover a bio-terror in the end. Created by Arindam Mitra and directed by Debaloy Bhattacharya, P.I. Meena stars Tanya Maniktala in the titular role, along with Parambrata Chattopadhyay, Jisshu Sengupta, Vinay Pathak, and Zarina Wahab in pivotal roles.
Takeshi’s Castle is the Indian reboot of the most popular 80s Japanese game show. The reboot premiered on Prime Video after 34 years with the commentary of actor and content creator Bhuvan Bam, who brings back one of his most loved characters ‘Titu Mama’. The show takes the audience through a nostalgia-filled game show format and introduces the main characters, including the great Takeshi Kitano.
With double the challenges, the new season of one of India’s top-rated shows (9.2/10 on IMDb), Aspirants, follows the journey of its characters - Abhilash, Guri and Sandeep as they navigate life through love, career, ambition and dreams, with stakes much higher and double the fun in the second attempt. Created by The Viral Fever (TVF), the drama series is directed by Apoorv Singh Karki. The relatable series brings back the stellar cast from the previous season, including Naveen Kasturia, Sunny Hinduja, Shivankit Singh Parihar, Abhilash Thapliyal, and Namita Dubey.
