Chandigarh August 29, 2024: The enrolment drive for the new batch of NCC Girls Cadets, Army Wing , Panjab University was organized in liaison with 1 Chandigarh Girls Battalion for the session 2024-25 on Thursday.
The drive was conducted by the board of officials including GCI, Kamalpreet Kaur, HavaldarHazrat Ali and CTO, Dr Shweta Rana under the mentorship of Prof. Renu Vig (Col. Cmndt.), Vice Chancellor, Panjab University and Col. A.S. Randhawa, Commanding Officer, 1 Chandigarh Girls Battalion.
The enrolment witnessed the enthusiastic participation of 70 students from all the streams of the University. A comprehensive understanding of the enrolment procedure was given at the start of the event. The participants underwent physical tests followed by the personal interviews to assess their acumen and suitability for NCC membership. The students were also briefed about the benefits of NCC in both personal and professional life.
