In this course the team of teachers of DCJ Personality Development Centre taught students various modules of Entrepreneurship and Correspondence Skills.

Jalandhar, September 24, 2024:  DCJ Personality Development Centre organized value added short-term skill development course entitled ‘Entrepreneurial and Correspondence Skills’ for B.Com students. In this course the team of teachers of DCJ Personality Development Centre taught students various modules of Entrepreneurship and Correspondence Skills.

Prof. Sandeep Chahal-Coordinator discussed in detail about speaking and listening skills, personal letters, business letters, official letters, report writing, memorandum, letters to editors, notices, agenda writing, minutes of meeting, basic grammar and presentation skills. Dr. Amarjeet Saini discussed basic of entrepreneurial skills, creation of new ventures-small startups in 21st century to generate innovative business ideas, meaning, importance and evolution of entrepreneurship and various factors influencing it. He also talked about industrial parks with their features and their examples.  Prof. Vishal Sharma talked about dinning etiquette in which he taught about greeting of guest, handling of cutlery, sitting postures, folding of napkins, uses of glassware and food serving alongwith distribution and cutlery indications. Prof. Rahul Bhardwaj discussed in details about dressing sense- formal and informal dress, gestures, postures, types of shoes and table manners. Dr. Ambika Bhalla talked about types and format of resume, job applications, bio-data and CV writing.

Principal Dr. Pardeep Bhandari said that the teachers of DCJ Development Centre regularly hones the interview skills and mould and shape personality of the college students, so that they could time excel in various state and centre level interviews and other modules of interviews held in the corporate world.
