Jalandhar, December 1, 2022: An Entrepreneurship Awareness Programm on Self Employment Opportunities was organized at DAVIET campus by the Centre of Incubation & Entrepreneurship in association with Micro,Small and Medium Enterprises-DFO, Ludhiana, Ministry of MSME, Govt of India for the Students to promote Entrepreneurship among them. Experts from different walks of life including Industry, Academia, Private as well as Public sector leaders interacted with the students during the program.
Virinder Sharma,Director, MSME-DFO, Ludhiana informed the students about willingness on the part of the government to promote start ups so create more job opportunities in India. In his address he also shared valuable information about the grants available for Startups.
Kundan Lal, Asst.Director, MSME-DFO, Ludhiana in his address explaianed to young aspiting entrepreneurs the various aspects of starting up a new venture. He gave valuable tips regarding to manage Finanace, Marketing and Accounts of a new venture.
Sanjeev Kundra, Functional Manager, DIC Jalandhar shared with the students the nuances of preparing a Bussiness Plan and how to execute it successful. He also highlighted the need of doing the market research and strength analysis before entering into a new field of business.
Sandeep Kumar Gupta, Founder, Sakaar Micro Solutions Pvt Ltd motivated students to choose a creative path in their life and become a leader in the true sense. He enlightened the students that if the vision is clear, then funding won’t be a deterrent in their path. He urged upon them to have complete focus and consistency towards their ideas to build and run a successful company.
Dr.Sudhir Sharma, Principal DAVIET informed that the CIE Cell has been organising these kinds of events from time to time to promote entrepreneurship among the students of DAVIET.He highlighted that it is only by taking initiatives and being job providers that we can steer the nation forward. He reiterated his belief that DAVIET students will be the trend setters and market leader even in the field of entrepreneurship development.
