Enviro organises a month long blood donation camp on World Donor Day
Gurugram: Enviro: The facility management wing of Vatika Group in association with National Thalassemia Welfare Society has organised and commenced a month long blood donation drive on the occasion of World Donor Day. A total of 210 units of blood was collected on the first day of drive itself. The drive is being conducted at various Vatika commercial complexes in Gurugram. It is scheduled to be concluded on 15th July 2019. “I felt great, the initiative by Enviro helped me do my bit for the society. Donating blood costs us nothing but it will save a life. ” said Deepak Das, an employee working with a MNC at Vatika Triangle. The blood donation camp is organized at various locations including Vatika Triangle, Vatika Atrium, Vatika Business Park, Vatika Tower, Vatika Professional Point, City Point and MindScapes. Juice, water and snacks were distributed to each of the donors today. “These initiatives are driven by our vision at playing an active role towards contributing to harmonious and sustainable development of society. Good health is central to human happiness and well-being and we are glad that we are able to contribute towards this noble cause through such initiatives. Its treatment requires regular blood transfusion which is extremely expensive.
