Sonipat, July 11, 2022: TDI International School has never missed an opportunity to inculcate in its students the value of Mother Earth. The school conducts multiple activities every now and then to ensure that the students learn enough about nature and its conservation. TDI organised a plantation drive during the ‘Van Mahotsav Week’ on Saturday, 9 July 2022, with an aim to plant as many saplings as possible.
The aim of the activity was to create awareness towards the conservation of forests and plantation of trees among people. The drive witnessed tremendous participation from everyone associated with the organisation. President- Ravi Dahiya, General Secretary- Chander Sehjwany, Former President- Jagbir Chikara (TDI Kingsbury), along with parents and other faculty members of the school planted saplings in their societies. They planted hopes, blessings and wishes to create a healthy environment for the future generation in the form of little saplings that would soon turn into mature trees with firm foundations.
“We always strive to create awareness about the conservation of the environment. We look forward to ample participation from students so that they constitute an aware and vigilant population of the country. Our faculty has been equally helpful in bringing up a bright future for the country in the form of responsible citizens.” said Harender Kumar Sharma, Principal, TDI International School.
