ESIC organizing special campaign for preventive health checkup for insured persons of 40 years and above for one month
Employees State Insurance Corporation has planned a dedicated programme focussing on preventive Health check-up of Insured persons which will go a long way in keeping workforce of the Nation healthy.
Ludhiana, August 14, 2024: Employees State Insurance Corporation has planned a dedicated programme focussing on preventive Health check-up of Insured persons which will go a long way in keeping workforce of the Nation healthy.
To cover a large number of Insured persons, the preventive health check-up camps for Insured Persons and Insured Women above 40 years of age to be conducted in campaign mode. The preventive health check-up camps will commence on the occasion of Independence Day, 15th August 2024, and will continue approximately one month. The focus of these camps will be on the following:
* Early diagnosis of life style disorders.
* Identification of pre-cancerous lesions and
* Detection of nutritional deficiencies among the Insured Persons/Women/Transgenders
These preventive health check-up camps will be organised at Industrial clusters, Hospital& dispensaries on daily basis, where routine investigations like Random Blood Sugar and Hemoglobin estimation will also be conducted.
Under this program, 3 mobile camps and static camps will be organized daily by the employees of State Insurance Model Hospital along with ESI Dispensary No. 2, 4, 8 and 12 in order to cater maximum number of Insured Persons of the area. Thus, screened IPs, if diagnosed with an aliment or requiring further evaluation and investigations, will be advised to visit ESI health facilities. A prescription slip with advice will be provided to the IPs for dispensing medication from nearest ESI health facility.
