Essay writing competition on “Poverty is not just a lack of money”

Jalandhar: The students of Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar added another feather in the shining and glorious cap of Apeejay by bagging top positions in Essay Writing Competition organized by Shri Ram Chandra Mission, United Nations Information Centre and the Heartfulness Education Trust.
13 students participated in this competition and wrote essays on the topic- “Poverty is not just a lack of money”. Out of which Mayuri Muskan and Anmol Kaur Khaira bagged 5th and 6th positions respectively at State Level while the other students- Kanika Thakur, Ashu Jain, Muskan Dabur, Mishika Sukhija got the merit certificates and Sona Kumari and Lakshay Abbat received the participation certificates.
Principal Dr. Neerja Dhingra congratulated the students and appreciated the efforts of Dr. Anjana from Department of Hindi for guiding the students towards the path of success.
