Essay Writing Competition on `Role of G-20 in Women-Led Development’ organised at Home Science College

Chandigarh, January 24, 2023: Carrying forward the idea of 'Jan Bhagidari’, espoused by our honourable Prime Minister, Shri Narender Modi Ji, Government Home Science organized essay writing competition on 'Role of G-20 in Women-Led Development' within the premises of the college. Keeping in mind the gender transformative approaches of India's G-20 Presidency, the rationale of the event was to engage young women in finding a formidable solution to global challenges faced by the world.
Emphasizing the vision and priorities of India's G-20 presidency, the principal of the college, Prof. Sudha Katyal advocated that impetus should be given to women's economic empowerment by engaging them in the ongoing development programme at the grass root level.
