World famous Artist Singh Twins based in England contribute Art painting “Casualties of War" - Portrait of Maharaja Duleep Singh" as a contribution for Bassian Kothi museum Ludhiana.
Ludhiana, February 16, 2024: Essex cultural Diversity Project CEO along with Heritage Promoters from England today visited Bassian Kothi , 200 year old Historical Monument situated in Raikot, Ludhiana, where the last Sikh Ruler Maharaja Duleep Singh, the youngest son of Sher – E – Punjab Maharaja Ranjit Singh had to spent the night under detention on 31st December, 1849, when he was being taken away from the land of Punjab by the British Army. EO Inderjeet Sandhu presented significant portrait for the museum of Bassian Kothi in Ludhiana. Today with the constant efforts of Harpreet Sandhu towards promoting Bassian Kothi through his documentary film in UK , left deep impact in the Punjabi Community based there , hence the CEO Essex Cultural Diversity Project, UK Inderjeet Sandhu has come all the way from UK to preview Punjab Tourism Location Bassian Kothi in Ludhiana with aim to further promote this significant Heritage site within NRI’s settled all over England highlighting this hidden gem of Punjab’s History having relevance with the last Sikh Emperor of Punjab Maharaja Duleep Singh. Step initiated to promote the 200 year old Punjab Tourism Heritage Location in District Ludhiana.
Essex Cultural Diversity Project UK today presented an rare art work Portrait “Casualties of War - Maharaja Dulerp Singh" painted by the World Famous Sikh Female Artist Amrit and Rabindra popularly known as Singh Twins based in Liverpool England as a contribution for the Bassian Kothi museum Ludhiana.
Even a permanent Selfie point designed by Nature Artist Harpreet Sandhu installed at Bassian Kothi which has become a major attraction for the tourists visiting this Historic location.
