Event "Pratibimb: Reflecting Our Icons" held
The Centre for Women Development (CWD), in collaboration with National Service Scheme (NSS), under the University Institute of Legal Studies (UILS), Panjab University (PU), organized the much-anticipated event "Pratibimb: Reflecting Our Icons".
Chandigarh, October 2, 2024: The Centre for Women Development (CWD), in collaboration with National Service Scheme (NSS), under the University Institute of Legal Studies (UILS), Panjab University (PU), organized the much-anticipated event "Pratibimb: Reflecting Our Icons".
The event commenced in the Moot Court Hall, where participants creatively portrayed renowned actors and leaders, embodying their personas with vigor and passion.
The event was organized under the able guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Shruti Bedi, Director of UILS, PU. The faculty coordinators from CWD, including Dr. Anupam Bahri, Dr. Sulbha Setia, Dr. Priya Singla, and Dr. Manisha Goyal along with Ms. Tania and Ms. Sonam, played significant roles in ensuring the smooth execution of the event.
The session culminated with an insightful lecture delivered by Dr. Parveen Goyal, the NSS Coordinator, who emphasized the importance of events like Pratibimb in fostering leadership skills, awareness, and social responsibility among students. His words served as a source of inspiration, motivating the audience to actively contribute to societal development and empowerment. Student Co-ordinators Pooja Malik (President), Sejal Bansal (Convenor), Ashish Boora (Co-ordinator), and Event Coordinators Varsha Sharma and Samriddhi Bhardwaj played pivotal roles in managing the event.
"Pratibimb" was yet another milestone in CWD’s efforts toward promoting leadership and creative expression among students, leaving a lasting impact on the participants and the audience alike.
