The Department of English and Cultural Studies, Panjab University, Chandigarh, organised an event to celebrate Hindi diwas, where participants recited Hindi poems of renowned Hindi poets.

Chandigarh, September 15, 2023: The Department of English and Cultural Studies, Panjab University, Chandigarh, organised an event to celebrate Hindi diwas, where participants recited Hindi poems of renowned Hindi poets.
The event received an enthusiastic participation by the research scholars and students of MA. Among research scholars, Puneet, Navdeep, Rimpa, Puru, Sanyogita and Abhay recited some poems.
MA students from English and Hindi departments participated in the event. Poems by famous poets like Dhumil, Dinkar, Maithili Sharan Gupt and others were recited by the participants.
The event ended on a positive note with the audience heartily applauding for the participants.
