Excellent performance of cadets of Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar in Combined Annual Training Camp
30 cadets of NCC (Army Wing) of Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar have performed brilliantly in the combined annual training camp concluded recently. These cadets were honored on their return by Prof. Jasreen Kaur, Vice-Principal of the college.
Jalandhar, July 24, 2024: 30 cadets of NCC (Army Wing) of Lyallpur Khalsa College Jalandhar have performed brilliantly in the combined annual training camp concluded recently. These cadets were honored on their return by Prof. Jasreen Kaur, Vice-Principal of the college.
Principal Dr. Jaspal Singh in his message said that the NCC cadets of our college are performing very well in the state level and national level activities. He congratulated the cadets for their excellent performance. He said that the college provides opportunities to its students to advance in every field. Giving information, Prof. Jasreen Kaur said that this camp was organized under the leadership of Colonel Vinod Joshi, Commander of 2 Punjab NCC Battalion. Under the leadership of SUO Prince, the cadets took part in cultural and sports competitions including drill, field craft, battle craft, training in disassembling and assembling weapons, study of maps. Delta Company won first place in the drill competition under the leadership of Camp Senior Prince. Delta Company also won the All Over Championship trophy. Cadet Sayiam played an important role in getting his team the first position in the volleyball competition. Under Officer Ardeep Kaur briefed Group Commander Brigadier Ajay Tiwari about the camp during the camp lay out. As a senior of the girls' Alpha Company, Under Officer Ardeep Kaur led the basketball team. The team won second place in this competition. Komal and Priya Sahu bagged the first position in the girls' drill test competition. Similarly, the team of cadets Anil, Sunil, Vikram Rana, Neeraj Siroy, Rahul Sidhu, Simranjit, Kirandeep stood second in the drill test. Jashanjot Singh won the first place in the turban tying competition.
Vice Principal Jasreen Kaur encouraged the cadets and NCC Officer Dr. Karanbir Singh for their good performance. Prof. Navdeep Kaur College Registrar was also present on this occasion.
