Ludhiana, March 11, 2022: In order to celebrate the success and mark the achievements of women of Ludhiana in various fields, DCM Young Entrepreneurs School organized an award ceremony to felicitate the Exemplary Women Achievers of Ludhiana, who by their hard work, perseverance and far sighted vision have attained huge quantum of success and have set an example for all aspiring young women.

While giving details Manissha Dutta, Creative Head said that Exemplary Women Achievers Awards is going to be an annual recurring event that intends to play a key role in recognizing and redefining the contribution of all dynamic women of Ludhiana. Through EWA, DCM YES aims to promote the positive impact women make on society. The platform celebrates by encouraging women to put themselves forward or by nominating suitably qualified women, the diverse strengths and achievements of successful women across industries and fields who drive forward with ideas, innovations and unrelenting grit that is propelling the business and the society in the right direction.

The award giving ceremony was held along with FICCI FLO, at Hyatt Regency Ludhiana, to appreciate the women entrepreneurs who have effortlessly broken the glass ceiling from sports to medicines, from education to run business with élan, women in Punjab have come a long way. The ceremony was preceded with a session on food and nutrition by renowned celebrity nutritionist- Ms. Pooja Makhija. The awards ceremony was presided over by Dr. Anirudh Gupta, CEO, DCM Group of Schools. While lauding the initiative, FICCI FLO Chairperson Ms. Radhika Gupta, appreciated the efforts of DCM YES School for organizing the event and celebrating the success of women entrepreneurs of Ludhiana. Dr. Anirudh Gupta, CEO, said that the vision behind DCM YES was to spearhead the spirit of entrepreneurship, so that we can revive the economy of the state. CEO said that education is the growth engine of any economy and if we are able to provide the right kind of education and skills, only then we will be able to achieve the dream of Make in India and “Atma Nirbhar Bharat”. Earlier, Nikhil Neil Sarup, along with Nidhi Sood welcomed all the awardees and the guests. The event culminated with the keynote address by the CEO followed by a musical concert.

It is pertinent to mention that DCM Group of Schools is celebrating its Platinum Jubilee this year and have taken this initiative to set up DCM Young Entrepreneurs School in the heart of Ludhiana to provide contemporary world class education from Grade Nursery onwards to realize “catch them young” spirit so that the kids can be conditioned to achieve success in their career at an early stage itself.
