Expressing sorrow on gas leakage incident in Giaspura, MP Arora assures full support to Administration

Ludhiana, April 30, 2023: AAP MP (Rajya Sabha) from Ludhiana Sanjeev Arora has expressed deep sorrow & grief on gas leakage incident that occurred in Giaspura locality in the city in early hours of this morning.
In a statement here today, he said he spoke to Surabhi Malik, Deputy Commissioner, Ludhiana and asked details about the today’s tragic and unfortunate incident.
Arora said he has been apprised by the deputy commissioner that at least nine people are feared to be dead due to gas leakage from a cold storage lying close in the locality concerned for the last sometime.
Further, Arora said most of the victims belonged to poor families, therefore, he has assured to provide treatment free of cost to the injured people at DMCH, Ludhiana. It may be mentioned here that Arora is also Vice President of DMCH Managing Society.
Arora has also assured of full support to Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana Mandeep Singh Sidhu.
He said he has also spoken to Principal of DMCH and made all arrangements in emergency if anyone is required to be shifted.
Meanwhile, now total 11 persons are dead .There are 5 females,6 males including 2 male children of 10 year and 13years, said an official information.
