Extension of NBA accreditation & release of E-magazine “The Techno Grind” of ECE branch of UIET

Chandigarh, April 6, 2023: A delegation of Faculty members of ECE branch of UIET greeted Prof. Renu Vig, on her appointment as Vice- Chancellor of Panjab University Chandigarh & wished her a successful tenure. Team was led by Coordinator ECE, Dr. Naresh Kumar informed that accreditation of the B.E.(ECE) program is extended further for the three years until 30.06.2025 by NBA along with four other branches of the UIET. The PG program of the department M.E.(ECE) was accredited last year for three years until 30.06.2024. Emphasis of NBA is on Outcome Based Education (OBE) & the department is continuously working hard to achieve its goal.  
On this occasion, Prof. Renu Vig, Hon'ble Vice-Chancellor also released three editions of the E-Magazine of ECE department The Techno Grind. The magazine focuses on the activities carried out by ECE students and highlights its placements, ongoing projects and showcases achievements of the students. She congratulated all the Faculty members and technical staff for their hard work and dedication. The Vice-Chancellor further motivated faculty members to come up with great initiatives.
