Rajya Sabha MP Sanjeev Arora announced on Monday an ex-gratia payment of Rs. 1 lakh each for the families of the three individuals who lost their lives in the factory collapse at Focal Point Phase 8. This compensation will be provided from his personal funds.

Ludhiana, March 10 - Rajya Sabha MP Sanjeev Arora announced on Monday an ex-gratia payment of Rs. 1 lakh each for the families of the three individuals who lost their lives in the factory collapse at Focal Point Phase 8. This compensation will be provided from his personal funds.
The tragic incident, which involved the collapse of a dyeing factory, resulted in the deaths of three people on last Saturday.
Arora expressed his sorrow over the loss of life and offered prayers for the swift recovery of the injured. "The loss of life due to a factory collapse is heart-breaking. My thoughts are with those who have lost loved ones," he stated and added that each deceased individual's next of kin will be given an ex-gratia payment of Rs. 1 lakh from his personal funds.
The Punjab government has already announced to covering the medical expenses for the injured and adequate compensation for the deceased.
