Faculty Development Programme held at Dev Samaj College for Women

Chandigarh, Mar 3, 2022: An online Faculty Development Programme (FDP) was held at Dev Samaj College for Women, Sector-45, Chandigarh. The programme was organised by the college in association with AICTE Training and Learning Academy (ATAL).
The Topic of the Faculty Development Programme was “Art and Science of Effective Teaching: Strategies and Methods".
A session at the FDP was conducted by Dr. Kuldip Puri, Prof. of Education (Retd) USOL, Panjab University, Chandigarh. Eminent resource persons from the related fields also conducted sessions.
During his session, Puri briefed the participants about the contemporary teaching learning methods. His session was followed by Dr. Pargat Singh, Principal GHG Khalsa College of Education, Ludhiana and Dr. Hardeep Singh Anant, Executive Director, Management Cluster, at Chandigarh University.
A total of 195 participants were approved by the committee for the FDP.
Dr. Meena Chopra, Principal of Dev Samaj College for Women, who formally welcomed the resource persons and the participants said that this FDP programme was an enriching experience for all who were part of it.
