Chandigarh, September 23, 2022: A faculty discussion session on the theme of Atma-Nirbhar Bharat was arranged collaboratively by Girls Hostel 1, 2 and 3 in Mata Gujri Hall. First invited speaker at the event was Dr Anupam Bahri, a faculty in sociology from UILS who stressed on the role of community partnership. The second speaker of the event was Chef Jaswinder Singh from UIHMT who informed the benefits of using iron and copper pots for cooking and advised against using aluminum utensils. Overall the thrust of the speaker was on going back to our roots especially indigenously grown foods and cooking methods.
