Faculty members and students of Apeejay College of Fine Arts awarded and appreciated for their wonderful work
They had presented their work in state exhibition organized by The Indian Academy of Fine Arts, Amritsar
Jalandhar: The faculty members and students of Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar were awarded and appreciated for their wonderful work presented by them in State exhibition organized by The Indian Academy of Fine Arts, Amritsar. In this exhibition, 205 artists had participated exhibiting their work in various categories as – Photography, Graphics, Sculpture, Painting and Drawing out of which 113 artists’ work was selected for the exhibition. 21 artists’ work out of 113 was appreciated and awarded in which included the work of Mr. Anil Gupta and Mr. Mohinder Kumar Mastana from Department of Applied Arts and Sculpture respectively of Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar. Both of them were honored with Award of Excellence for their work.
Students too won the cash prizes and were awarded for their work.

Piyush BFA 7000/- Photography
Bhavna Anand BFA 5000/- Photography
Harshit Bhalla and Keerti Sodhi of BFA were honored with Award of Excellence for Graphics and Photography respectively.
Other than this, painting of Dr. Jeevan Kumari from Department of Fine Arts was selected for exhibition along with the students- Preet Prabhjot Kaur, Aditi Aggarwal, Kiranjeet Kaur, Kunj Arora and Diksha Tangri.
Principal Dr. Neerja Dhingra congratulated the faculty members and their students for this wonderful achievement and motivated them further to keep their spirits high always and keep striving for greater heights. She put forth that art is something which keeps improving every day and for that consistent efforts are required from artists’ side.
