Faculty Training School under UGC Networking Programme concludes at UIPS, PU

Chandigarh, April 13, 2019: The one-week long Training School under UGC Networking Resource Centre in Pharmaceutical Sciences on the theme “Innovation and Entrepreneurship” conducted by University Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (UIPS), Panjab University, was successfully concluded today at Golden Jubilee Seminar Hall, PU.
During the Programme, eminent speakers‎ from various academic institutions and research organizations with expertise in diverse disciplines of pharmaceutical sciences together with the in-house faculty of UIPS enlightened the participants from all over the country.
During the valedictory programme, Dr Manish Diwan, Head, Strategic Planning and Entrepreneurship Development, BIRAC, New Delhi, was the Chief Guest and delivered the valedictory lecture on BIRAC Energizing Biotech Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
Earlier, Professor Kanwaljit Chopra, Chairperson, UIPS & Programme Coordinator, UGC- NRC, delivered the welcome address.
Professor Indu Pal Kaur, Course Coordinator, briefed about the antecedents of the week long course. Feedback from the participants was also invited.
Dr Vandita Kakkar, Joint Course Coordinator of the School, presented the Vote of Thanks.
