Sony SAB’s Wagle Ki Duniya - Nayi Peedi Naye Kissey chronicles the everyday challenges and successes of the Wagle family. In recent episodes, Sakhi Wagle (Chinmayee Salvi) begins using a dating app to explore new experiences and to distract herself from Vivaan (Sameer Kulkarni). She enjoys the excitement of online dating, matching with new people and going on dates, but soon finds herself in a dangerous situation when one of the men she’s been chatting with turns out to be a stalker.
As the storyline progresses, Sakhi becomes increasingly frightened and stressed upon realizing she’s being followed by a stalker Aditya, played by Faisal Khan, who intensifies the tension by tracking her every move. In desperation, Sakhi turns to Vivaan for help, but their plan to stop the stalker backfires, forcing them to involve the entire Wagle family. It would be interesting to see how the Wagle family comes together to protect Sakhi from her stalker.
Chinmayee Salvi who essays the role of Sakhi Wagle said “Seeing Vivaan with his girlfriend was a tough moment for Sakhi, and in an attempt to distract herself, she decided to explore the world of dating apps. She never imagined it would turn into such a terrifying experience. Now, overwhelmed with stress and fear, she turns back to Vivaan for help, realizing just how dangerous the situation has become. The upcoming episodes will show how Sakhi and Vivaan, along with Wagle family, plot against the stalker to get Sakhi out of this danger.”
Faisal Khan who essays the role of Aditya said “Aditya starts off as charming but quickly reveals his manipulative and obsessive side. His privileged background makes him believe he can escape consequences, driving him to relentlessly stalk Sakhi without any regard for her safety. My role as Aditya sheds light on the dangers of online interactions and the terrifying impact of someone who disregards boundaries. This is the first time I am playing a negative character and it was extremely challenging for me but the team at Wagle Ki Duniya was supportive and made me comfortable on the sets.”
