Falak honoured on 77th Independence Day
Education Minister, Punjab Harjot Singh Bains, who was the Chief Guest on the occasion of Independence Day function at Ludhiana, honoured Dr Jaspreet Kaur Falak, with District Woman Award, in recognition of her contribution in the literary sector.

Ludhiana, August 16, 2023: Education Minister, Punjab Harjot Singh Bains, who was the Chief Guest on the occasion of Independence Day function at Ludhiana, honoured Dr Jaspreet Kaur Falak, with District Woman Award, in recognition of her contribution in the literary sector.
The Deputy Commissioner Surbhi Malik was also present on the occasion.
Dr Falak is a prolific writer who upholds the social values and the dignity of womanhood, in her Hindi, Punjabi and Urdu poetry.
Expressing her deep gratitude to the District Administration, Dr Falak said that she dedicates the award to her team of amateur and established writers.
She appreciated that those who are at the helm of affairs are considering women as a significant segment of society.
