The fears being created about Artificial Intelligence (AI) are baseless, we should know about today's technology and its applications for its people-friendly and creative use. These thoughts were expressed by journalist, translator, and writer Deep Jagdeep Singh during the monthly meeting of Punjabi Writers' Association Rampur in the seminar hall of the association's library, with a large attendance of members.

Rampur/Ludhiana, July 9, 2024: The fears being created about Artificial Intelligence (AI) are baseless, we should know about today's technology and its applications for its people-friendly and creative use. These thoughts were expressed by journalist, translator, and writer Deep Jagdeep Singh during the monthly meeting of Punjabi Writers' Association Rampur in the seminar hall of the association's library, with a large attendance of members. 

This meeting was held under the Writer's Dialogue series of Punjabi Writers' Association Rampur, presided over by the association's president Anil Fatehgarh Jattan. At the beginning of the meeting, the association's president Anil Fatehgarh Jattan welcomed the writers. The meeting expressed condolences for the recently departed writer Harbhajan Mangat and Tej Kaur, sister of writer Netar Mutto.

Afterwards, under the Writer's Dialogue series, a conversation was held on the topic of Artificial Intelligence with Deep Jagdeep Singh, an executive board member of Punjabi Sahitya Akademi Ludhiana who is working to make the mother tongue contemporary through technology. Speaking on this topic, Deep Jagdeep Singh said that humans have always been imitating nature. He made aeroplanes by observing birds and cameras by observing eyes. Now he has also created Artificial Intelligence that mimics human intelligence. We should know about this in today's time. A lack of information about this can cause great harm. He called the fear about AI baseless. He said that it might take another century for AI to surpass humans. At the peak of the discussion, the writers present asked Deep Jagdeep serious and pointed questions about this topic, which he answered with ease. This thoughtful discussion has initiated a new initiative in the literary world.

After this, the round of literary creations began with Balwant Mangat's article 'Neti Neti Main' related to human consciousness, which was discussed in great detail. Following this, Inderjit Singh, Karnail Sivian, Kawaljit Neelon, Sardar Panchhi, Taran Rampur, Vishwinder Rampur, Zorawar Panchhi, Harbans Malwa, and Gurdyal Dalal recited their poetic compositions, expressing poetic thoughts on topics such as environmental conservation, planting and maintaining trees, the helplessness of humans in an atmosphere of communalism, revolution in thinking, and other subjects.

Surinder Rampuri, Gurdeep Mahon, Kuldeep Singh, Harjinder Singh, Balwinder Singh Pudain, Amarinder Sohal, Prabhjot Rampur, Sukhjivan Rampur, Gurbhagat, Pammi Habib, Dr. Tahil Singh Jassal, and Preet Singh Sandal participated as listeners in the meeting. Balwinder Singh Pudain, Inderjit Singh, and Harjinder Singh, who attended the meeting for the first time, were welcomed by the association. During this time, the association's patron Surinder Rampuri presented his newly released book, 'Kisi Bahane', and the association's senior member Gurdyal Dalal presented his new book, 'Jal Bhram Ton Wapsi' to the association. 

At the end, the association's president Anil Fatehgarh Jattan thanked all the writers and guests who attended the meeting. The proceedings of the meeting were conducted very proactively by the association's general secretary Balwant Mangat. During the association's proceedings, the administrative tasks were carried out very systematically by Prabhjot Rampur, Taran Rampur, Gurdeep Mahon, and the association's secretary Neetu Rampur.
