Chandigarh October 30, 2012: In order to train the farmers and acquaint them with ultra-modern techniques in diversified farming, the State Government would set up an Integrated Farmer’s Training Center at Gurdaspur.
While disclosing this, Chief Parlimentry Secretary Agricultur S Gurbachan Singh Babbehali said that the agriculture department has chalked out a detailed program to woo the farmers towards diversification in agriculture sector by promoting fruits, vegetables, oil seeds and pulses cultivation in the state besides dairy farming, fish farming and poultry farming.
