Ludhiana, August 24, 2023: The FASC Kapurthala organised an awareness programme on crop diversification and water saving practices in field crops at village Sidwan Dona on Thursday, in collaboration with Department of Agriculture Kapurthala.
The programme was coordinated by Senior Agricultural Officers Sukhdev Singh and Bhraut and Dr. Pardeep Kumar incharge FASC, Kapurthala.
Among the participants were active farmers of village Sidwan Dona and neighbouring villages.
Dr.pardeep elaborated upon the practical field problems in rice/basmati and their solutions with the farmers.
An interactive session on general issues in agriculture was also held.
Farmers evinced keen interest in the lectures given by experts.
