Mumbai, August 8, 2023: Amazon miniTV - Amazon’s free streaming service, has recently launched India’s only Hip-Hop focused dance reality show - Hip Hop India. Featuring Remo D’souza and Nora Fatehi as judges, the show recently announced the Top 12 contestants who’ve taken the stage by storm owing to their dancing prowess. The latest episode saw Remo D’Souza introducing, ace dancer Dharmesh Yelande aka ‘D Sir’ as his secret agent. Dharmesh was supposedly on a mission to acquire two tough challengers to takeover the show. The concept witnessed Dharmesh ushering in the supremely talented Hip Hop dancer Bboy Tornado and the skilful dance troop Yo Highness!
As they say, winners are people who never quit! Hip Hop India stands on the motto of “Gully se Glory tak” and Bboy Tornado, a.k.a. Ramesh Yadav, can be named as the living embodiment of the show’s motto. Without any recognition, he made his way to the top 26 in the 2023 Japan Olympics and made the country proud by being the first Indian to qualify in the category. It wasn’t an easy journey for Ramesh Yadav a.k.a. Bboy Tornado but no matter how hard life pulled him down, Tornado always came back stronger. Bboy a.k.a Tornado was seen in the 5th episode at Hip Hop India where he showcased his signature move that blew everyone’s mind.
On being asked to share about his experience Tornado said, “There is nothing more that can make me happy than representing my country in one the most respectable stages in the world. Dance has always been a therapy for me and Hip Hop is my style. I always wanted to own it.”
