Father of Nation Mahatma Gandhi portrait installed at JCP Attari Border

To glorify The Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi, Guiding Spirit of Indian Freedom Movement and the archetype of true patriotism, who played a vital role in Independence of our Nation, a digitised version of Mahatma Gandhi’s Portrait has been dedicated to 75th Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav and installed at the significant location at JCP Attari border.

Attari/Amritsar, April 28, 2023: To glorify The Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi, Guiding Spirit of Indian Freedom Movement and the archetype of true patriotism, who played a vital role in Independence of our Nation, a digitised version of Mahatma Gandhi’s Portrait has been dedicated to 75th Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav and installed at the significant location at JCP Attari border. The Portrait has been prepared and digitised by Punjab’s eminent Author, Heritage Promoter & Nature Artist Harpreet Sandhu (Former Additional Advocate General Punjab), The huge size Portrait of Mahatma Gandhi carries his meaningful quote, “The Future depends on what we do in the Present”. The Portrait of Mahatma Gandhi will not only be a sign of patriotism but will be of immense interest for the daily visitors during the retreat ceremony and above all a significant preview of Father of the Nation from across the border, highlighting Mahatma Gandhi being a great visionary who often through his meaningful quotes inspired people towards Nation building. 
 
Sanjay Gaur, Deputy Inspector General, Border Security Force and the BSF Officers at the Border acknowledged the innovative and dedicated efforts of Nature Artist Harpreet Sandhu to have come up with a  significant Portrait of Mahatma Gandhi for JCP Attari,and the portrait was today installed at Attari open stadium & Pictorial work compiled by Nature Artist Harpreet Sandhu, Member Parliament Amritsar Gurjit Singh Aujla and Dr Narinder Bharghav, IPS ,DIG Border Range Amritsar highly appreciated the significant pictorial work compiled in form a beautiful portrait of Mahatma Gandhi by Nature Artist Harpreet Sandhu and described it as a noble cause towards the Nation.
 
The meaningful message of Mahatma Gandhi portrayed in the pictorial visuals was also released by, Member Parliament Khadoor Sahib Jasbir Singh Gill ,Deputy Commissioner Amritsar Harpreet Singh Sudan, IAS, DIG Border Range Dr Narinder Bhargav,IPS, Former Additional Advocate General Punjab and Nature Artist Harpreet Sandhu, Deputy Commissioner Customs ICP Attari, Navneet Kaushal, IRS, Joint Commissioner, Customs ICP Attari, IRS , Navdeep S Sandhu, Suptd Customs AIPL Director Shamsheer Singh, V P AIPL Dalbir Bedi ,Deputy Commandant BSF JCP Attari, BSF & Customs Department Officers and Jawans.
