FDP on topic “Disrupt to Surge” considering new age marketing conducted
Jalandhar, December 7, 2019: A Faculty Development Programme on the topic “Disrupt to Surge” considering the new age marketing was conducted in Apeejay College of Fine Arts, Jalandhar. The resource person of the days was Mr. M. J. Kalra of Department of Commerce. Addressing the gathering he put forth about the new products coming in the market and the business, they are making. He said if any company is not molding its products as per the latest time and requirement of people; it is very natural that it is going to lose its customer. In today’s competitive era, where every day a new product, a new demand is coming this modification becomes necessity. He gave the examples of Nykaa and Swiggy, whose founders chose the platforms where customer was already available and due to this vision they succeeded well and have received awards as well for it. Principal Dr.Sucharita Sharma appreciated Mr.Kalra for this informative lecture on the techniques and vision which were beneficial for everyone to develop their perception and understanding of existing market.
