Chandigarh: To honour its rich legacy in preparing students for engineering competitive examinations and helping them achieve their dream of becoming IITians, Aakash Institute, the national omni-channel leader in test preparatory services, today celebrated 14 years of achieving excellent results in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE), the national competitive examination conducted annually for admission to various engineering colleges in the country. On the occasion, AESL felicitated 6 meritorious students from Chandigarh who have achieved remarkable results in JEE in the last few years and have done the Institute and the City proud.

Courses in JEE (Main and Advanced) were started at Aakash Institute in the year 2007. Since then, while a whopping almost 55,000 Aakashians have cleared the JEE Mains, nearly 19,000 students have achieved incredible results in JEE Advanced in the last 14 years.
2020 was a watershed year for Aakash Institute for JEE when its student, Chirag Falor from Delhi, became the National Topper by securing AIR 01 in the JEE Advanced competitive examination. In fact, a whopping 140 students from Aakash Institute featured in Top 500 and 247 in Top 1000 in all categories in JEE Advanced 2020, which saw an impressive 1,700 students from Aakash Institute qualify. In JEE Mains 2020, a record nearly 8,000 Aakashians qualified including 6 State Toppers and 6 Girl State Toppers.
Over the years, Aakash Institute has registered one of the best and most consistent results in JEE with conversions rates of 50% in JEE Mains and 24% in JEE Advanced. Which means, every second student studying at Aakash clears JEE Mains, an impressive feat that speaks volumes of the faculty, curriculum and training at Aakash.
The JEE results from Chandigarh have been at par with the national trend at Aakash. An impressive 2235 students have qualified JEE Mains and 632 students have cleared JEE Advanced since the start of the JEE course at Aakash Institute’s branch in the city in 2009.
