Ferozepur, February 10, 2013: One ‘dera premi’ of Ferozepur City died due to swine flu on Sunday morning during treatment at Ludhiana hospital.
Surinder Kumar and Dera Premi Amarjit Singh, retired police inspector said, one active member of Dera Premi Committee, Daulat Ram, 48 years, resident of Bedi Colony, Ferozepur City had a fever few days back and was under treatment of local doctor and when he did not get relief, he was referred to Ludhiana where he died during treatment on Sunday morning at about 3 AM.
They further said that Daulat Ram was active in social works besides participating actively in the affairs of the Dera Sachha Sauda.
There is a panic in Ferozepur due to the death of Daulat Ram due to swine flu and the most surprising factor is that Health Department is not aware of the incident who claims of organising awareness seminars which looks to be only a show-off.
