Ferozepur, February 27, 2013: No doubt, the common man is not happy with the presentation of budget by Pawan Bansal but the people of Ferozepur are happy with the linking of Ferozepur to Sri Amritsar Sahib with railway track which will also unite the Malwa and Majha belts.
In fact, it was a long pending demand of the people of border area.
It is for the first time after the independence of India that Ferozepur has been given a lion’s share in the rail budget for Ferozepur-Patti rail link, inter-city rail Ferozepur-Delhi and double line upto Bhatinda.
With the start of express train, the border city would now figure on the global map which would be a great tribute to the freedom-fighters.
